At times, you need to speed up to wake up

Assalamualaikum,

When I went to a program last weekend, I met these two teachers. Both are principals of two other schools.

Yes well who said when you end school you've got nothing to do with school anymore? - my school isn't the conventional school, in fact its very different - there's something called Tarbiyyah (Islamic Teaching) that is obviously something continuous - you never graduate the lessons - so after school there are still programs going on like weekly usrah, post-SPM programs (for 6 months but not everyday). Of course joining is voluntary not formally compulsory.

But anyway. we went to this other school, SM Al-Islah, Sg Petani. For a school with cheap fee (well, comparatively) - it doesn't exceed RM200 per month, it does have lots of facilities. A mosque is on its grounds as well. The mosque has maybe 6-8 LCD TVs, our school should have those too hahaha

The principal welcomed us. He gave a speech/briefing first. what interested me was the analogies he used. haha aku memang suka benda2 kena fikir ni pfft

He said that driving 110 km/h is fast. But staying for a long time at 110 km/h is tiring and makes us sleepy. So for 3 minutes, we sometimes have to speed up to 140 km/h, to wake ourselves up. Then after that go back to 110 km/h with different conscience

The 140 km/h 3 minute was analogized as the 3-day program.

Hahaha. I dunno why I remember that one until now. It's something I can relate to perhaps.

There was this other principal (I dunno why too many principals came haha) who gave a talk about something very interesting as well (the powerpoint was in Arabic!!) but maybe next time.

p/s: I have no skills of making videos at all. I don't even know what software to use.  I wonder why they seemed to think I do. LOL
