Assalamualaikum wbt :)
Its a 5 day holiday! Lol.
Actually my family moved houses a few days ago.. But since I wasn't home most of the time, (school on weekdays 7.30-5.30 and extra classes on weekends), I wasn't really enthusiastic about moving (or even participating in anything regarding it). My sister picked me up one day (my sister picks me up now HAHA how interesting) and they've already moved. I only got to go back to my old house to pack for 30minutes (since I had more classes that night and had to rush) and came back. lol.
Whats great about moving, is that I get to redesign the interior of my room (haha). I have pink wallpapers now, and I think soon I'm gonna hand-paint (? I mean, paint my room by my own, mind, I don't like outsiders ruining my privacy) my walls pink LOL (qarie will be proud of me hahaha).
Whats bad (not really bad as in bad..but err, not so great) is that I have this habit (haha) of growing attached to things. Heck, I never even delete my messages, nor do I dispose any letters/notes. I think losing my old phone (which sometimes doesn't notify me of incoming text messages XD) will be worse than losing my new one. I miss my old room >.< no matter how cramped it was with all the books/clothes/magazines but its one of my favorite places in the world (LOL).
I read somewhere that, one way to find peace and be happier is by, spring cleaning.
Getting rid of the things you know you wouldn't need in the future, and deciding on what to keep, will make life a lot more easier. (My mom keeps asking why me and my sister "have so many clothes" and she told us to "put aside what you don't need" . but the thing is, I did that already a few months ago hahaha. Whats left is what I need..)
But anyway.. I agree that disposing things from the past, will do you good. Yesterday I emptied my outbox which hit 1000 messages and was at times jamming my phone. Then I emptied my inbox. Later I'm gonna go through everything else I own..
" Learn to let go " they say.
Let go of the small things in the past which are bugging you up till now, making you regret and whatnot, and why not, start new.
But I would say, at some point, we have to hold on to some parts of life which actually matter. because sometimes, you'd never realise how much it will affect your life (what am I talking about?! argh).
p/s: read some notes we were passing in Biology early this year which was kept (still is) in my Biology Ref Book. About some "tudung issue" LOL
