Assalamualaikum,
I thought that the whole idea of teaching History was to make us remember what happened 500 years ago and study how it affects us now.
I guess they enhanced another part of History:-
being able to apply knowledge about history to develop further
You know what, today's Sejarah paper was asking 50% history and 50% opinion questions. (okaylah mungkin tipu sikit. 50:40 perhaps)
The last question asked was (more or less) "your hope for world leaders to sustain peace in the world" (6 marks)
I honestly felt like I was writing a letter to the PM (only it was scoped global). LOL
Another was; "Apakah perasaan anda apabila mendengar lagu (Negaraku) dinyanyikan" (1mark) [I was like WTH?] "Alasan?" (2marks) [then, ?!]
Although some people don't like KBKK Questions like that, and its kinda unfair telling us to read and memorize one (I mean two) textbook(s), but ask only about 20% of what we read, but in one way, Its kinda interesting, the idea of "grading" our ideas, not only our memory. barulah orang nak start berfikir
p/s: aspiring to be more of a Patriot.
p/p/s: Alhamdulillah :) Tomorrow's Maths and next week; PSI, Addmaths and Physics.

The only problem that would arise with such, opinion-based questions would be, what is the right answer? I mean, opinions, by the name itself, is subjective, to its writer/speaker. lol I bet most of you would score well, and grades would go up. As long as you guys didn't 'merepek merapu', of course. :D
All the best, Dalila!
true! I thought of that as well.. but I guess they'll just have to be a bit lenient in marking..hahaha I hope I didn't merepek (erk) !
thanks! long time no see XD
